Giving Fund Award Information

Due Date: Open application acceptance at this time.

• Application valid for Tutoring Hours, Art/Music Program Tuition, or Art/Music Supplies up to $500 per application per child.
• Art supplies applications must have a supply list from a program or class being attended and the supplies will be purchased and sent to the recipient upon approval.
• Applicants must be in Kindergarten – 12th grade to be considered.
• Applicant must be a Colorado resident and attending a school within Colorado.
• Funds disbursed based on funds availability in the Shane Thurston Foundation Giving Fund.
• Applications are processed within 30 days of receipt. *If it has not been 30 days since submission and a response has not been received, please know that the application is still in progress.
• Funds are paid directly to the facility chosen for services awarded on behalf of the recipient.
• Facility provided must be a business, whether online or in-person that provides services that meet the Giving Fund criteria. Funds will not be dispersed to the recipients directly. *If there is help needed determining a facility to provide services, please see our Facility Partners page.
• Parent(s)/Guardian(s) please complete the application with input from the student recipient for questions.
• Please provide thoughtful responses to ensure the Foundation has as much information as possible to process the application.
• Funding may only be provided four times per child with a given 365-day period.
